PROGRESS OF THE INNOVA PROJECT IS PRESENTED IN "I ROUND TABLE AT THE UNIVERSIDAD CATÓLICA NUESTRA SEÑORA DE LA ASUNCIÓN"

On Monday, September 12, the first round table on "Management of scientific research with a focus on climate change" was held at the Catholic University "Nuestra Señora de la Asunción" Carapeguá Pedagogical Unit, with the participation of directors, teachers, students, graduates and social leaders.

On the occasion, Dr. Luciano Román Medina, Director of Postgraduate and Research, presented the INNOVA project, its objectives, the various work packages, the results achieved and its implications and impacts on the institution.

The attendees had the opportunity to participate in a "World Café", where they discussed possible problems that can be addressed from a prospective investigation, emphasizing climate change and the local reality, that is, Carapeguá and the department of Paraguarí.

Likewise, good practices in research management that are possible to implement or replicate at the University were addressed; and, finally, it dealt with the topics that can be addressed in the classroom through active teaching techniques, such as problem-based learning and seminars, in such a way as to incorporate research into teaching itself and impact the formation of future students. researchers.

It is worth noting the interest shown by the participants, who contributed their ideas on the topics presented and recognized the importance of these debate spaces where professionals from various areas and specialties participate, which allows enriching the debate.
